NHA took the historic Goodall Building that was built in 1938 as warehouse style building where they manufactured Palm Beach Suits for some of the finest department stores of the era, and converted it into 32 apartments (28 two bedroom, 4 three bedroom). NHA was able to keep the exterior historic features in place that includes the huge windows such that every apartment has its own three season room as an added feature. Goodall Apartments provide housing options for families seeking a two or three bedroom apartment in an elevator served single building. With the Kentucky Housing Corporation’s low income housing tax credit program, Goodall Apartments were built to include 28 two-bedroom, one-bathroom units and 4 three-bedroom, 1.5-bathroom units. All units include premium kitchen appliances, storage space, three season room, vaulted ceilings and central air heating and cooling. These units are made affordable to families earning 60% or below of the area’s median income.

Goodall Apartments are professionally managed by Winterwood Management, a Lexington, KY property management firm with over 10,000 managed units. Moreover, Goodall Apartments have an on-site manager and maintenance person. Goodall Apartments also features an on-site manager’s office, a community room, central elevator and a library. Residents enjoy access to a playground, plenty of parking, and green space.
